This movie is a documentary about a guy who eats nothing but fast food (while limiting his carbs) and managed to lose 12 pounds in 28 days. He then went on to eat, what most doctors will tell you, are foods that are bad for you such, as steak, bacon, eggs, and cheese, and actually lowered his bad cholesterol, and raised his good cholesterol.
I found this movie to be very interesting, because basically it showed how our bodies need fat, and when it doesn't get it, it can actually make us fatter than if we had just eaten it in the first place.
These very fats are what make us happy, keep our body running as it should, keep our brains functioning, and give us what we need. When we starve ourselves of these, our body doesn't work as it should so it can actually work against us to eat low fat foods.
So what did I get from this movie, keep eating how I want, keep sugars and carbs in moderation. Eat natural fats, such as animal fats, stay away from "fake" and so called better for you fats that have been made by man. If it doesnt occur naturally don't eat it.
Mother Earth knows what shes doing and we shouldnt mess with what she provides.
So eat up, be happy, be healthy. WATCH THE MOVIE, YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING NEW.
You must keep in mind that most studies will only show you their point of view. Such as a study about the bad side effects of marijuana most likely will not tell you the good things about it, while studies that say its good for you will most likely limit the bad side effects. I only say watch this movie so that you may form your own opinion and to encourage you to think outside of the diet. I encourage you to do your own research, find your own info, you just have to look, it's out there waiting for you.
